About the event

In collaboration with No Place for Poverty, Together We Bloom is a community craft project bringing people together to create handmade flowers that raise awareness, spark conversations and encourage action around poverty.


Over a period of time, our Makers group have gathered at Holy Grounds to create flowers by hand while sharing stories, reflections and conversations about poverty, community and the ways we can care for one another. The project has also grown beyond our walls, with people from across Perth creating flowers at home, in community groups and in their own spaces of connection to contribute to the exhibition.


This wonderful collaboration has brought together many hands, perspectives and experiences. The process has been just as important as the finished exhibition - creating opportunities for people to connect, listen and reflect on how we each contribute to a more compassionate community.

You can find us tucked behind
St George's Cathedral

Our main entry is street level from Cathedral Square, and if you choose to use the Pier Street entry, we are one flight of stairs, or one level up via the lift.
